You can export the Google Slides file in many formats, including PDF or JPG/PNG.

  • PDF is a high-resolution file suitable for printing
  • JPG/PNG files are web resolution ideal for emailing, adding to your blog or publishing on your website.

If you are planning to print via a photo centre, then you’ll need a high-resolution JPG. Visit the Printable JPG article for instructions on how to create an image file from the exported PDF.

Export as a printable PDF

  • Select File on the menu bar
  • Click Download as
  • Select PDF Document (.pdf) from the pop-out menu

Check your default downloads folder for the PDF file.

Printing at home

Are you planning on printing at home? If so, you can set up the file to print two invites per page by creating a PDF with multiple pages.

When you’ve finished editing, duplicate the thumbnail so there are two pages in your final PDF.

  • In the pane on the left, Select the thumbnail and Press Ctrl + D once.
  • Follow steps 1 to 3 above to export the PDF.

Export a web-friendly image

NOTE: Web-friendly images are great for onscreen use such as email, adding to your blog, website or social media sites. This format shouldn’t be used for printing as pixelation and compression artifacts will cause your invite to be blurry.

  • Select File on the menu bar
  • Click Download as
  • Select JPEG image (.jpg) or PNG image (.png) from the pop-out menu
  • Select File on the menu bar
  • Click Download as
  • Select JPEG image or PNG image from the menu.

Check your default downloads folder for the image file.
